Job Description

A busy high-profile family of five in a large 5-bedroom household requires a permanent, live-out housekeeper to work Monday to Friday/Saturday, 3 hours per day (morning or afternoon to be arranged with the candidate). The role is based in Oxfordshire, near Wallingford/Didcot. Candidates must be local with a car and experienced in private households, maintaining hotel-standard cleanliness and organization.

The family has young children and a dog; the housekeeper should be comfortable in such environments. High standards of cleanliness, attention to detail, initiative, and professionalism are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain the home in presentable condition: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
  2. Manage laundry, including delicate fabrics, and iron clothes and bedding.
  3. Wardrobe management and internal window cleaning.
  4. Polish wooden floors and keep the house tidy.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of the immediate outdoor areas, empty bins.
  6. Order household supplies, report maintenance issues, and assist with contractor deliveries.
  7. Perform additional duties as reasonably required by the employer.
Requirements

Compensation

£20 per hour, 15-18 hours per week, paid via payroll with a contract.
