The opportunity

EY's Forensic Data Analytics (FDA) team is a growing global group focused on AI and data within the Forensic & Integrity Services department. We work across all lines of business in the Financial Services industry, with a focus on Financial Crime, Fraud, Legal, and Regulatory domains. This role combines extensive financial services experience, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of Data and AI capabilities to assist our clients with complex issues. Your key responsibilities

Skills and attributes for success

• Client Management and Business Development:
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management, including C-suite executives.
• Lead initiatives such as go-to-market campaigns, sales sprints, bid processes, engagement delivery, and knowledge management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets over £1m annually.
• Stay informed about industry trends, key performance drivers, and emerging developments.
• Support clients on issues related to financial crime, fraud, regulatory compliance, litigation, and adverse events across Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management sectors.

Engagement Delivery and People Management:

• Lead complex data and AI projects, review work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage engagement progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure project success within scope and budget.
• Manage relationships with senior client stakeholders, investigators, auditors, lawyers, and regulators during sensitive situations.
• Lead training, recruitment, resourcing, and other practice-wide initiatives to foster a positive work and learning environment.
• Establish best practices, processes, and standards to improve service quality and efficiency.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Deep expertise in the Financial Services industry, especially in financial crime, forensics, fraud, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience across the full data lifecycle, including discovery, ETL, analysis, machine learning, visualization, and AI technologies.
• Experience leading large, complex data and AI programs and developing innovative, reusable solutions.
• Experience mentoring data engineering and data science teams.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience with Big 4 or large consulting firms is advantageous.
