National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking an Associate Vulnerability Researcher in Telecommunications. You will build expertise in vulnerability research within telecom environments, analyze systems to understand failures, and contribute to improving the resilience of telecom technology.

You’ll work with experts and stakeholders from academia, industry, and government to translate research into real‑world impact.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of software, systems, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages and willingness to learn more.
• Awareness of core security concepts and mitigations (e.g., ASLR, NX, stack protections).
• Working knowledge of Linux environments and system internals.
