Description:
Doncaster is a new city, alive with potential and possibilities; and Doncaster City Centre is a new Mission Area at the beginning of an exciting journey. We have recently been awarded substantial strategic funding from the central Church for Love Doncaster, a project to revitalise these churches in mission and service to our city.
The appointment of a new Associate Vicar is a crucial next step. We are praying for someone who has a big heart for people and for social justice. They will be able to work across different church traditions and will be passionate about intergenerational, intercultural mission and ministry.
The Associate Vicar will play a full part in the life of Doncaster Minster, with its choral tradition and civic opportunities, but will also be the main priest for St James’ church, a vibrant, warm, intercultural community in the evangelical tradition that has seen significant growth in recent years and which has the potential to flourish further as a beacon of hope in the heart of Doncaster.
If this sounds like it might be you, we would love to hear from you.
