Who You Are

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Experience in transport planning, ideally with leadership aspirations
• A proven track record in business development, project management, and stakeholder engagement
• Excellent report writing skills and experience with Transport Notes, Statements, Assessments, and Travel Plans
• Knowledge of local and national transport policies and guidance
• Experience as an expert witness in planning appeals or hearings
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Membership in a professional institution (CIHT, IHE, TPS) and preferably chartered status
• Knowledge of sustainable/active travel innovations and design standards
• Understanding of DfT Webtag, strategic/microsimulation modeling (VISSIM, PARAMICS)
• Proficiency with junction capacity modeling software (Junctions 10, LinSig, Quickgreen) and industry tools (TRICS, TEMPro)
• Competence in highway design using AutoCAD and GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo, Basemap, TRACC, Podaris)
