Associate Transport Planner

I am working with an established and highly successful transport planning consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Transport Planner in their Cheltenham office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected team with a strong pipeline of work and an excellent reputation in the market.
The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key part in the delivery of a broad range of transport planning projects. Typical responsibilities will include:
·Producing and reviewing transport assessments, travel plans and feasibility studies
·Analysing data, carrying out traffic modelling and supporting transport strategies
·Preparing technical reports and presenting clear recommendations to clients and stakeholders
·Supporting project management duties and mentoring junior team members
·Liaising with local authorities, developers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable transport solutions
Requirements:
·A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or a related field
·Proven experience in transport planning (public or private sector)
·Knowledge of transport modelling software and analysis tools (e.g., Junctions, LinSig, TRICS) is desirable
·Strong analytical and report-writing skills
·Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
