The Client

The client, a global leader and one of the leading Real-Estate Consultancies, is looking for an experienced Associate Town Planner to join the Planning team in Cambridge.

Role Overview

Successful candidates will be Chartered with the RTPI, possess an RTPI-accredited planning degree (or related qualification), and have demonstrable consultancy experience. You must be enthusiastic, client-focused, and have a track record of independently managing planning applications.

The Position as an Associate Town Planner

1. Project initiation and site selection through to end-of-life phase.
2. Engage in developing the company’s client base, enhance the company’s reputation, and be an active team member.
3. Contribute to a diverse range and scale of projects such as private housebuilders, government organizations, social housing developers and landlords, and commercial developers.
4. Be part of a team with versatile expertise.

Essential Criteria

1. Chartered Member of the RTPI.
2. Relevant experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or for a developer.
3. Good communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record in project management and business development.
