Job summary

IQVIA in Cambridge is recruiting for a laboratory automation role. You will operate and maintain automated platforms and support sample management, ensuring accurate SAP documentation and adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a BSc in a scientific discipline, laboratory experience, strong problem-solving and data handling skills, good IT literacy, and an interest in automation technologies. Pharma/Biotech/CRO exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain automated laboratory platforms (Echo, Tecan, Janus, Beckman, HighRes, Mosquito, SmartCell, Hamilton Tube Store).
• Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities.
• Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with quality standards.

• Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities.
• Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with quality standards.
• BSc in a scientific discipline.
• Laboratory experience gained through academia or industry.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and data handling skills.
