Job description

• Responsible for the support, integration and development of the Enterprise Architecture Modelling Tools which may include ArchiMate, SparX Systems Enterprise Architect, or Ardoq.
• Responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of data, models and visualisations to support the Architecture function.
• Supports the creation and enables the Architecture practice to create business process mapping and modelling using tools such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Responsible for aligning the Enterprise Architecture tooling to TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and the principles, processes, and best practices.
• Responsible for inputting, maintaining and developing data modelling, ensuring the logical and physical structure supports business needs.
• Responsible for maintaining collaborative tools for document sharing, version control, and team communication (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Git).
• Responsible for creating, supporting and tracking of architecture-related team tasks and deliverables including creation of agenda and meeting minutes for Technology Steering Committee.


Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, both in written and verbal formats, particularly when engaging with stakeholders.
• Experience in capturing technical requirements and documenting them in written and pictorial (e.g. PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience in engaging with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment between architecture and business goals.
• Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and product-aligned teams, contributing to sprint-based and continuous delivery.
• Demonstrable experience working within TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) with deep understanding of its application.

• In depth technical experience with Modelling Tools such as:
o UML (Unified Modelling Language).
o BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Workshops, Bootcamps, or Courses in Enterprise Architecture Tools (e.g., ArchiMate, SparX Systems Enterprise Architect).
• Demonstrable experience with either TOGAF 9/10 (The Open Group Architecture Framework) or Zachman Framework for Enterprise Architecture.
• ITIL Foundation or Practitioner (for understanding service management and IT governance) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstratable mindset for organising and visualising data.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in an IT Architecture practice.
