Job summary

Certain Advantage is recruiting an Associate Tax Director based in London or Reading on a 6-month contract. You will oversee non-US tax audits, planning activities and international tax projects, leading tax teams and coordinating with senior directors.

You will drive international tax strategy, advise on M&A outside the US and optimize processes with Alteryx, SAP and other tools to deliver accurate tax outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of work experience.
• 15+ years of relevant work experience in income taxes.
• Strong working knowledge of corporate income taxes.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and SAP.
• Data management and automation skills; Alteryx is a plus.
• Ability to lead groups, build consensus and communicate with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax planning activities, restructurings and tax projects outside the US.

Associate Tax Director

Certain Advantage is currently recruiting for an Associate Tax Director based in London or Reading on an initial 6-month contract

You will be responsible for overseeing all non-US tax audits, tax planning activities and international tax-related projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing all the tax planning activities, restructuring and tax projects in countries outside of the US;


• Advising on all the merger and acquisition activities in countries outside of the US;


• Managing, progressing and resolving all the tax audits and litigations in countries outside of the US.


• Managing and overseeing the entire compliance program lifecycle, corporate tax return, meeting with the relevant Tax Authorities, performing various tax reviews and relationship management;


• Coordinating with other Associate Tax Directors and Senior Directors as necessary to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all international tax processes.


• Streamlining and optimizing tax processes through the use of various digital finance tools, including AI, Alteryx, Qlik and other technologies.


• Lead a team of tax professionals.

The individual:

• Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.


• Fifteen or more years of relevant work experience in the income taxes field.


• Strong working knowledge of corporate income taxes.


• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision and SAP.


• Solid data management and automation skills required; experience with Alteryx is a plus.


• Ability to lead groups, build consensus, and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.


• Strong team leadership, communication, interpersonal and management skills with an executive presence and ability to build relationships with stakeholders in peer/influence models.


• Previous people management experience.
