Avencia is your talent outsourcing partner. We bring a fresh perspective to recruitment outsourcing, favouring simplicity over complexity, quality over volume, and personalisation over uniformity.

Backed by an undisputed track record in insurance and other growing industries, we partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to provide flexible and bespoke strategic services which are critical to our client’s business.

We partner with our clients to understand their Talent Acquisition challenges and design solutions tailored to their needs.

The role

Due to continued growth on one of our key accounts, we are seeking a Talent Sourcing Partner to join our on-site team working on a hybrid basis – The client is based in Central London and we anticipate that the role will likely require 2/3 days a week on site. This is a Permanent opportunity, where you will join a well-established, well-embedded Client Services team. Our client is unique in their approach to Insurance, is rapidly expanding year-on-year and, as such, this is not your every day, run-of-the mill candidate sourcing role!

The position itself will involve you identifying, engaging with, and placing candidates across multiple disciplines. You will also support our existing team of Recruitment Business Partners with short term projects, talent pooling, candidate management, candidate feedback, market mapping and other recruitment focused tasks.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate seeking their first opportunity in Talent Acquisition, or for a Coordinator/Administrator with up to 12 months of experience looking to step into a more sourcing-focused position with a clear path for career growth.

What you'll do

  • Support the on-site Avencia Client Services team with sourcing candidates across multiple disciplines, including Underwriting, Claims, Business Change, Operations, Finance, Tech, HR and other Insurance-centric disciplines
  • Utilise LinkedIn, Job Boards, Talent Pools and the ATS to capture and connect with top talent
  • Operate as the primary point of contact for candidates, from initial engagement through to offer acceptance
  • Work closely with the Recruitment Business Partners, attending Hiring Manager briefings, curating sourcing strategies, presenting CVs and identifying opportunistic hires
  • Support the Recruitment Business Partners with managing direct, referral and internal applicants
  • Ensure the ATS and CRM’s are up to date to enable the Systems and MI Team to create accurate reporting and data analysis

How you'll do it

  • Demonstrating a proactive approach when it comes to engaging with market leading talent
  • Offering a best-in-class candidate experience, inspiring confidence amongst your peers and stakeholder groups
  • Taking enjoyment of being part of a fast paced, successful and highly motivated team
  • With a customer-centric approach demonstrating attention to detail in both attitude and output
  • Displaying empathy for your customers (candidates/clients/colleagues)
  • Taking pride in ensuring that processes are followed and systems kept up to date
  • Planning effectively in advance, without being fazed if tomorrow doesn’t look like today
  • Spotting opportunities to improve processes and making it happen
  • Through articulate verbal and written communication
  • By evolving an in-depth knowledge of a complex end-to-end recruitment process

What's in it for you?

  • This is a client who expects a lot but offers an environment where you are exposed to all levels of stakeholders, all the wayto Exco/C-Suite. This will help shape your ability to understand the nuances between business areas, both from a technical and cultural standpoint, allowing you to really make an impact from Day 1.
  • This is a role where you can really get under the skin of the vacancies that you are working, with the support of a high performing and nurturing team
  • This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same – Your exposure to roles of all levels will strengthen your understanding of how a business works from the top down
  • Ongoing training and support from an established Client Services team with 25+ years of recruitment experience between them!
  • Central London Office Location (5 mins from Liverpool St), with high spec working environment (offices are dog friendly too!), with daily breakfast, snacks and drinks, a bar, great views in a state-of-the-art building.
