Role: Associate Surveyor - Utilities & Infrastructure

Location: Manchester

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Car

We are working with one of the UK's key players in the Utilities and Infrastructure industry, focused on bringing the UK and Ireland closer to Net Zero. Our experts in land, environmental, and geospatial services collaborate to secure necessary consents for our clients' projects.

Our services include land access, agricultural liaison, planning, environmental impact assessments, and geospatial mapping. Join us to contribute to our vision of being the leading professional services team in the Utilities and Infrastructure sector, guiding it toward a sustainable future.

As an Associate Surveyor, you will:

  1. Motivate and manage a team delivering land and property advice and services.
  2. Set objectives aligned with company strategies, ensuring high standards, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team success.
  3. Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, holding regular meetings to track progress and improve service scores.
  4. Assist on projects to provide strategic advice, resolve complex issues, and seek operational gains.
  5. Monitor team time recording and client reporting, aiming to maximize billing and meet financial targets while maintaining gross margins.
  6. Provide line management support, conduct regular meetings, recognize achievements, and delegate effectively.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with application and construction aspects of major projects, managing client relationships and finances.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to generate new business through networking and cross-selling.
  • Leadership qualities, promoting company ethos and fostering a positive team environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and compliance with relevant standards.
