Job summary

Regional Recruitment seeks an Associate Structural Engineer for an immediate start in the Midlands. Salary circa £60,000+ DOE, permanent full-time role.

The successful candidate will lead a team, manage and develop staff, and oversee diverse structural projects while maintaining key client relationships and contributing to business growth. Chartered status and strong design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior or Associate Structural Engineering position.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng/MIStructE).
• Strong structural engineering design experience.
• Experience managing and developing engineering staff.
• Key account management and client relationship experience.
• Experience working towards and achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of structural engineers and technicians.
• Support the development, mentoring and progression of team members.
• Oversee structural design projects across a range of sectors and scales.
• Maintain and develop key client relationships.
• Manage key accounts and support continued business development.
• Monitor team performance and work towards agreed KPIs.
• Work closely with Directors on business strategy and project delivery.
• Review structural designs, calculations and technical drawings.
• Ensure projects are delivered to a high technical standard and within agreed timescales.

Are you an experienced Associate Structural Engineer ready to take the next step in your career and play a key role within a growing engineering consultancy?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and expanding organisation based in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer to take on a senior leadership position, managing a team, developing staff, maintaining key client relationships and working closely with Directors to support the continued growth of the business.

The successful candidate will have strong structural design experience and be comfortable working across a varied range of projects and project scales.
