Job summary

Ramboll Bristol is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to join our growing I&IF team. You will lead technically challenging projects, guide design decisions and develop client relationships while helping grow the Bristol business.

Work with architects, contractors and engineers to deliver sustainable, low‑carbon solutions across rail, aviation, energy, manufacturing and data centres, while growing leadership and technical capability within Ramboll’s international network.

Qualifications

• Chartered with IStructE or ICE or international equivalent.
• Significant experience delivering technically challenging projects as structural engineer.
• Experience leading client relationships and contributing to business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of technically complex projects.
• Develop structural concepts, design philosophies and innovative engineering solutions.
• Act as a technical reference and coach to other engineers.
• Take responsibility for client relationships and represent Ramboll at meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other disciplines to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Promote sustainable, low-carbon approaches in design and materials use.
