Associate Structural Engineer - Building Safety
Sidcup, Kent

Are you an ambitious Chartered Structural Engineer with an interest in building safety?

Join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy at their Sidcup, Kent office to lead and develop their team delivering structural inspections and reports for building safety cases.

The firm has over 100 staff across sectors including rail, buildings, marine, transport, housing, and local government. They handle a diverse workload.

The role involves working with the Director to expand the client portfolio, manage growth, and oversee the technical delivery of the existing team, which has around 10 staff. You should have experience in various building structures design, site visits, observations, and providing written advice. Knowledge of robustness and progressive collapse is essential. Experience with assessments and remedial works of Large Panel systems is preferable.
