Conrad Consulting is partnering with an engineering consultancy in Manchester to recruit an Associate Structural Engineer.

Role Overview:

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the performance of our engineering team. Your responsibilities will encompass both the technical delivery of projects and strategic business development, ensuring the growth and success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Lead the technical delivery of structural design projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Client Engagement: Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify new opportunities, prepare proposals, and expand our client base across various sectors.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, workload management, and performance monitoring.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of calculations, drawings, and reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
