• Comfortable working predominantly from the Cambridge office and supporting the wider team.
• Ambition to progress with a growing consultancy.
• Established industry network and commercial awareness to help the business grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of a varied portfolio of building projects.
• Work on residential developments, house extensions, university, college and student accommodation schemes.
• Deliver structural solutions for refurbishment, barn conversions and existing building projects.
• Undertake structural surveys and prepare reports on existing properties.
• Provide technical supervision and guidance to engineers and technicians within the team.
• Take responsibility for the quality and technical delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with Directors and senior members to shape the growth of the structural team.
• Develop into a key member of the business with long-term progression opportunities.

• Is comfortable working predominantly from the Cambridge office and recognises the value of being present to support and supervise the wider team.

• Ideally has an established network within the industry and the commercial awareness to help the business develop further.

As The Successful Senior / Associate Structural Engineer, You Will:

• Lead the structural design and delivery of a varied portfolio of building projects.
• Work across projects ranging from residential developments and house extensions to university, college and student accommodation schemes.
• Deliver structural engineering solutions for refurbishment, barn conversions and existing building projects.
• Undertake structural surveys and prepare reports on existing properties.
