Job Description

WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are looking for anAssociate Strategistwithin ourLangland Clinical Trial Experience (CTE)team. This role helps to set the direction for clinical trial recruitment campaigns, including content and messaging for patient and HCP-facing communications.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the creative, copy and content we make accurately reflects the strategy, so the role encompasses brand positioning, creative strategy, channel planning, market research, and message development.

Half of the role will involve responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) from clinical trial sponsors who require support for recruiting and retaining participants in their trials, and the other half will be working projects that we have already won, supporting the teams to ensure all deliverables reflect the strategy.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a thorough understanding of trends and drivers in clinical research and healthcare
• Developing an understanding of communications strategies and tactics to encourage clinical trial enrollment
• Analysing market research to support strategy creation
• Supporting the client partnership and project management teams to ensure strategic alignment
• Preparing briefs for creative and content teams
• Arranging market testing of creative concepts
• Reviewing first-draft copy
• Working cross-functionally with internal departments and teams

Qualifications

WHO AM I?

• Life sciences degree
• Experience in a medical/health comms agency
• Currently working as either an Associate/Junior Strategist, or in a Medical Writer or Client Services role with an interest to move into strategy
• Naturally curious with an interest in strategy
• Strong research skills
• Passionate about healthcare and an interest in healthcare
• Knowledgeable about the clinical trial process and drug development
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Confident presentation skills, written, in-person and online (i.e. Teams)
• Competent with PowerPoint and visualisation of concepts and data

Please note: Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with full time employees being office-based three days during the working week.
