We enable the most innovative engineering companies in the world to transform how they develop, test, and manufacture better products faster. Our software has been used to engineer mission-critical satellites, deliver stronger and lighter medical implants for patients in need, and allow engineers to create complex, high-performance products with revolutionary speed and accuracy.

We are looking to add smart ambitious teammates who are passionate about problem-solving and cutting-edge technology to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Associate Solution Engineer, EMEA to support our team and help drive value for our customers through adoption of the nTop platform. This role will be critical in helping our customers achieve success by creatively leveraging nTop platform solutions to address complex challenges. This role will work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers, Sales Reps, Application Engineers, and Product teams to help drive the voice of the customer into everything we do at nTop.

This role is remote within France, Germany, or the United Kingdom, and reports to the Solution Engineer Manager.

What You'll Do:
  • Act as a subject matter expert in nTop software, continuously build upon this software skillset through internal training and real-world customer-facing workflow development.
  • In this entry-level role, you will support all internal groups within the Customer Success Organization, with a strong emphasis on Solutions Engineering and Onboarding Engineering teams.
  • Drive value within nTop’s broader GTM team by acting as a technical representative to the sales “POD”.
  • Own technical relationships within your POD team's book of business.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and otherwise “unblock” customer-authored nTop workflows in order to facilitate healthy software adoption and customer growth.
Required Experience:
  • B.A. or B.S. required; STEM degree such as mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Customer-focused, enthusiastic, positive and service-oriented attitude with a strong understanding of engineering software or experience in a technical environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals.
  • Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background or interest in industrial engineering, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other applied STEM field strongly desired.
  • Experience with engineering and CAD software such as Solidworks, Catia, Abaqus, Ansys, Matlab, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. Experience with Excel preferred.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with Jira, Trello, or Asana preferred but not required.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of additive manufacturing or other advanced manufacturing techniques.
