We are hiring an Associate Software Engineer to join the Inhealthcare by ResMed team at their Harrogate office.

At Inhealthcare and Resmed, our digital health technologies and cloud-connected medical devices transform care for people with sleep apnoea, and other chronic diseases. Our digital health platform is key to improving patient outcomes and enhancing remote healthcare delivery. We are looking for a dedicated Associate Software Engineer to join our team to focus on configuring our platform to create personalised health pathways for patients in accordance with the company’s documented processes.

Working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders the role will involve applying agile processes to the development of digital healthcare services, working iteratively with regular demonstrations. There will be opportunities to contribute creatively from the outset of projects, gathering and analysing requirements from clinical teams to discuss solutions that maximise the platform’s technical capabilities.

Additionally, your role will include both manual and automated testing responsibilities. You will utilise our Automated Testing Framework to design and implement test cases, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are met, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.


Let’s talk about Responsibilities

  • Work with the platform’s configuration tools to design, test, and implement digital health pathways
  • Collaborate closely with clinical, product, and technical teams to understand patient needs and create pathways that are both clinically relevant and user-friendly.
  • Deliver quality product within timeline
  • Analyze and monitor usage and help resolve customer issues
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders required
  • Presenting digital healthcare services to clinical teams, and gathering feedback
  • Ensure that the health pathways function smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise in patient journeys.
  • Ensure that internal service documentation and procedures are available and maintained
  • Work with health data APIs and external systems to ensure seamless integration of patient data into the platform, allowing for real-time health monitoring.
  • Document configuration processes and provide training or guidance to team members who may need to understand or modify the pathways in the future.

  • Ability to work on their own initiative to solve problems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within the team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand business processes and data structures.
  • Ability to learn the In-house toolkit and platform capabilities.
  • A fast learner with the ability to pick up new skills quickly
  • Ability to work to tight timescales


Preferred:

  • Knowledge of SQL, HTML, Java, Groovy, and/or other programming languages
  • Background in programming or scripting
  • Experience with source code management tools e.g. git
  • Knowledgeable about healthcare systems and medical devices.
