Position: Permanent | Salary: Competitive | Location: Oxford

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking your next career move? We are looking for a dynamic and skilled professional to join a respected employer in the construction industry. This position is suitable for those with 5-10 years of experience, whether client-side or with a main contractor.

About the Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee major construction projects, guiding clients and project teams from concept to completion. Your commercial insight and strategic advice will be vital for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and draft procurement reports
  • Deliver detailed cost planning and present estimates to clients
  • Lead tendering and procurement, including managing pre-qualification
  • Monitor post-contract costs and handle change management
  • Perform cost checks and valuations throughout projects
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports
  • Contribute to value engineering and final account negotiations
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants at all stages
