Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of the journal workflow, acting as handling editor on manuscripts, providing rapid, constructive peer-review and publication decisions.
• Contribute to content development by working with the Editorial Board on commissioning and publication of subject-specific collections.
• Establish and maintain relationships with EBMs; support recruitment and training of new EBMs.
• Resolve pre- and post-publication issues raised by staff, EBMs and readers.
• Engage in community outreach to EBMs and potential authors at conferences and lab visits.
• Input to policy development initiatives and implement editorial policy.
