Job Description:

This well-established law firm is currently recruiting for an Associate or Senior Associate to join its expanding property team in Edinburgh. The purpose of the role is to provide legal advice to various clients, particularly public sector clients.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE level and able to negotiate contracts and advise on all aspects of the purchase, sale, development, and leasing of commercial properties across a broad range of sectors. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting, negotiating, concluding, and implementing contracts for the sale and lease of property assets.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and concluding leases and ancillary lease management documentation.
  • Supporting more junior team members in developing their technical knowledge and skills.

Experience working with or for clients within public sector is advantageous, but not essential. This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.
