Associate/Senior Associate - Employment

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a prestigious London-based firm known for its high-profile work and excellent client service. The Role

Suitable for Employment Associates or Senior Associates (ideally 4-9 PQE, but strong candidates outside this range are considered) in London. The role involves advising a varied client base such as financial services, media, sports, education, charities, and high-profile individuals. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising on HR issues like contracts, policies, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, and TUPE.
  • Negotiating exits, restrictive covenants, and handling employment disputes for senior staff.
  • Managing Employment Tribunal claims and working on High Court employee matters.
  • Supporting corporate teams on employment issues.
  • Work within education and sports sectors.
  • Engaging in business development activities like writing content, delivering training, and attending events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified solicitor with strong employment law experience from a City or mid-sized practice.
  • Experience advising employer clients and senior executives across sectors.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and advisory skills.
  • Ability to handle a busy caseload independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive team player with enthusiasm for marketing and business development.
  • Strong academic record (minimum 2:1 degree).
