Associate/Senior Associate (4+ years PQE) - National Professional Indemnity Team - Manchester Office

We are looking for an experienced Pro Fin, D&O Associate or Senior Associate and or coverage solicitor (4+ years' PQE) to join the National Professional Indemnity team (consistently ranked tier 1 in the directories by their clients and peers) and be based in our Manchester office.

A consistent and ever-growing client base has led to a fantastic opportunity for a bright and ambitious litigator to join this recognised market-leading team within Clyde & Co's worldwide and highly regarded specialist professional indemnity practice group.

The Professional Indemnity Team

Our global professional indemnity team has a long-established reputation for successfully defending negligence claims against professionals and handling the most complex coverage issues. We offer specialist advice on both high volume and high value claims.

Our clients include accountants, actuaries, architects, bankers, brokers, engineers, financial advisers, IT professionals, media professionals, medical practitioners, lawyers, surveyors and valuers. We have specialist teams focusing on each of the major professions, including a number of partners who specialise solely in lawyers' or accountants' liability, and are regarded as market leaders in these sectors.

Our professional indemnity team has experience in complex regulatory investigations and litigation, particularly the problems presented by parallel proceedings. We are also experienced in relation to coverage issues including trigger points for cover.

What are we looking for?

We are keen to hear from solicitors with D&O and or coverage and or professional negligence experience within the insurance industry. We are looking for individuals with the ability to investigate and defend high value and/or technically complex cases with the right support network around them. We would like a candidate who excels in building client relationships and with a high level of self-sufficiency and initiative.
