Job Description:

Background:

Our client, the leading investment bank in the Kingdom, is looking to add an Associate/Senior Analyst to their M&A Execution team, based at their head office in Riyadh.

The M&A and ECM team comprises over 20 highly-skilled professionals—significantly larger than the typical 2-4 member teams of most international banks operating locally. This depth allows the platform to outperform its competitors in both deal execution and deal flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Execution & Advisory: Conduct due diligence and valuation analysis for Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A scenarios, etc)
  • Client Engagement: Prepare pitch books and investment memoranda for client presentations, support ongoing client relationship management by preparing briefing materials and performance reports
  • Regulatory & Market Insight: Stay up to date with Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and Tadawul (Saudi Stock Exchange) listing rules, interpret local market trends to provide informed strategic guidance to clients
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions. Role reports to the Director of the M&A Advisory team

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of M&A experience, preferably within a tier 1 global investment bank or elite boutique
  • Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field from a top-ranked university
