The Vetting Department are the core of Personnel security operations within NTT Data. The team provide an effective personnel security culture and the day to day management and delivery of personnel security policy, procedures, risk assessment, management and general security processes. The team advise management on the interpretation and implementation of contractual and, where appropriate, legislative security controls.

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Junior Security Coordinator to support our growing Vetting Department. This role will primarily focus on the administration and maintenance of pre-employment and security screening checks, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with administrative experience in a security, compliance or HR environment who is looking to develop their career in personnel security.

  • Provide administrative support for the end-to-end screening and vetting process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation
  • Liaise with candidates, hiring managers, and third-party screening providers
  • Ensure all vetting files meet compliance and audit standards
  • Track and report on the status of ongoing NSV security clearances
  • Support the Security Coordinator’s/Senior Security Coordinator’s and Head of Vetting with ad hoc security-related tasks

What experience you'll bring:

  • Prior administrative experience (ideally in a regulated or security-focused environment)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of BPSS/Pre-screening is essential
  • Understanding of NSV vetting process
  • Current SC or SC clearable (role is dependent upon obtaining clearance)
