Job description

Job Description

The Associate QC Scientist performs laboratory testing within a fast-paced GMP environment supporting areas such as raw materials, in-process products, final bulk products, stability, and validation. Responsibilities include analyzing test data, evaluating results, writing procedures under guidance, and assisting with trending data and lab investigations.

Work Schedule

Sunday through Wednesday, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform test methods to support product/material release.
  2. Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with procedural requirements.
  3. Implement and maintain GMP standards for laboratory records, procedures, and systems.
  4. Perform various laboratory techniques as trained.
  5. Complete assigned tasks responsibly and contribute to a positive team environment.
  6. Revise procedures as necessary and support departmental needs.
  7. Maintain trend reports supporting departmental performance.
  8. Support investigations effectively.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or related sciences.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Maintain necessary certifications for assigned tasks.
Additional Information

This role is subject to pay disclosure laws depending on location. The compensation range is an estimate of base pay based on the job grade, subject to change and dependent on factors such as geographic location. Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and participation in incentive programs. Compensation details are at the company's discretion until paid.
