Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

  1. Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, and gels).
  2. Operate instrumentation independently, including chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus.
  3. Prepare samples for analysis and run instrumentation with minimal supervision.
  4. Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department.
  5. Prepare standards and samples for analysis.
  6. Execute method transfer protocols.
  7. Document work as required for GMP compliance.
  8. Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7AM - 3PM or 3PM - 11PM. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
