Understanding this behavior and the performance of CPG and Tech/Durable products is critical for retailers, manufacturers, and public policy organizations. Governments leveraging industry data can adopt better policies. We’ve expanded into this vertical to play a key role in our future vision.

As Associate Director, Sales for Government, Public Sector, and Non-Profit Accounts, you will lead large sales engagements, expand business in this sector, develop strategies, build client relationships, and close deals. You will join a team of 30+ high-performing associates, contributing to our growth goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales of NielsenIQ solutions in European markets & EU Institutions
  • Achieving sales targets by articulating NielsenIQ’s value
  • Building client relationships
  • Representing customer voice internally
  • Collaborating with sales and cross-functional teams
  • Forecasting sales and managing pipeline
  • Using insights and industry knowledge in client conversations
  • Owning account relationships and expertise

Qualifications

  • 6+ years selling to Government/Public Sector, including EU Institutions
  • Experience in data & market measurement
  • Knowledge of how data provides insights to this sector
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Proven success in sales and business development
  • Experience with tenders, proposals, negotiations
  • Strong sales pipeline management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with NielsenIQ tools a plus
  • French and English skills; Italian a plus
