What you'll be doing

Working as a core team member with colleagues across the country on large inter-disciplinary and national residential portfolio transactions for registered providers, for-profit registered providers, institutions, local authorities, and investors. The role will encompass:

  • Assisting with the application of the firm's AI products to enhance service delivery;
  • Liaising with clients, agents, and counterparts on transactions, including representing the team in project management meetings;
  • Drafting contract provisions and conditionality arising from due diligence in collaboration with transactional colleagues;
  • Assisting with project management, task delegation, and supervising team members;
  • Collaborating with professional support teams and conducting legal research.

Working as a lead solicitor on significant property charging and securitisation transactions for registered providers and for-profit registered providers to raise funds for development, maintenance, and acquisition programs. The role will include:

  • Managing transactions day-to-day with direct client contact;
  • Coordinating with national portfolio, banking, and finance teams;
  • Reviewing due diligence information, searches, and title data;
  • Delegating tasks and supervising colleagues to meet project deadlines;
  • Using Trowers Evolve tools effectively in transactions and practice management;
  • Supporting due diligence for merger, development, and regeneration transactions, and advising on valuation issues related to mortgagee exclusion clauses;
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, including participating in marketing;
  • Adhering to core competencies relevant to the fee earner level;
  • Participating in training sessions;
  • Ensuring compliance with Lexcel procedures.
