Hours:

Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm with flexibility in accordance with the needs of the business.

Our current working from home policy allows for two days working from home, subject to business need.This policy is subject to change and does not form part of contractual terms.

The Department:

Real Estate

Real Estate is a key practice area for the firm with presence in London, the US & Asia. The firm’s Global Managing Partner is a London Real Estate Partner.

Our Real Estate team is involved in some of the best deals in the market, with a focus on (i) big ticket investment deals (often for overseas clients) (ii) private equity real estate, (iii) large developers and property companies and (iv) corporate HQ moves.

Our Partners have extensive experience in acting for investors, funds, property companies, banks and developers in all kinds of investment, development and finance transactions.

Qualifications

A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 1-5 years post qualification experience.

The PQE level/s identified here is indicative only. Mayer Brown would welcome applicants regardless of PQE who believe they meet the requirements of the role outlined in the job description and wish to apply for the position

Experience, skills and personal attributes:

  • Experience in Real Estate is required
  • Specific experience with commercial real estate transactions, acting for investors, funds, property companies, banks and developers in all kinds of investment, development and finance transactions
  • Excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style;
  • Ability to work effectively within an established, close-knit team;
  • Demonstrate ability to confidently interact with clients and develop business pro-actively;
  • A commercial and pragmatic outlook;
  • Have attained degree certificate(s) from a reputed institution, achieving a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent;
  • Be self-motivated and possess a very pro-active attitude;
