Job summary

TLT is recruiting an Associate to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. This flexible role can be full or part-time, with hybrid working to suit you and the team.

You will act for public and private sector clients on a broad range of transactions, mentor junior team members, collaborate with Partners across our offices, and contribute to business development to grow our nationwide Real Estate offering.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in real estate.
• Experience handling a broad range of real estate transactions.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are recruiting for an Associate to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. This role is offered on a flexible working basis and can accommodate full or part-time hours.

Your Role

As a key addition to our growing team, you can expect to be involved with:

• Acting for a range of public and private sector clients,including local authorities and developers, on a broad range of real estate transactions, with appropriate levels of supervision
• Mentoring and supporting junior members within the team
• Collaborating closely with the Partners across our office locations
• Taking an active involvement in business development as well as supporting with existing client relationships
• Assisting in the long-term growth and development of our Real Estate offering nationwide

Your Skills & Experience

You will be:

• A qualified Solicitor, with 1-3 years' PQE gained in a similar legal setting, with experience handling a broad range of real estate transactions
• A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
• Commercially aware with some exposure to business development, with the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
• Able to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
• Eager to contribute to our collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
