Job summary

TLT LLP is recruiting an Associate to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. This role offers flexible working with the option of full or part-time hours, within a collaborative national firm.

You will act for a broad range of public and private sector clients on real estate transactions, mentor juniors, and contribute to business development across our offices, while supporting growth of our Real Estate offering nationwide.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE in real estate transactions
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
• Commercially aware with client relationship experience
• Able to manage workloads and deadlines
• Willing to contribute to junior team development

Responsibilities

Job description

We are recruiting for an Associate to join our Real Estate team in Manchester. This role is offered on a flexible working basis and can accommodate full or part-time hours.

Your Role

As a key addition to our growing team, you can expect to be involved with:

• Acting for a range of public and private sector clients, including local authorities and developers, on a broad range of real estate transactions, with appropriate levels of supervision
• Mentoring and supporting junior members within the team
• Collaborating closely with the Partners across our office locations
• Taking an active involvement in business development as well as supporting with existing client relationships
• Assisting in the long-term growth and development of our Real Estate offering nationwide

Your Skills & Experience

You will be:

• A qualified Solicitor, with 1-3 years' PQE gained in a similar legal setting, with experience handling a broad range of real estate transactions
• A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
• Commercially aware with some exposure to business development, with the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
• Able to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs, and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
• Eager to contribute to our collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
