Job description

Quantum Engineer - Up to £50,000 dependent on experience

As a quantum engineer, you would have gained a Masters and started working in industry or completed a PhD. You will have an interest in engineering solutions to varied problems and a passion for learning and a desire to work in a multidisciplinary and open team. You will be a good fit if you have enjoyed coding projects, self-motivated research, and communicating your learnings and ideas back to your peers. If you have experience setting up and debugging hardware for RF/microwave measurements or experience characterizing and calibrating qubits, we’re keen to hear from you, however this is not essential.

You will work on quantum control protocols in order to improve the performance of quantum operations and introduce greater control and measurement functionality into our technology stack. You will work closely with other engineers and scientists in our compiler and hardware teams to develop our software infrastructure and have the opportunity to help bring new features into production.

  • Relevant Masters with industry experience or PhD
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience solving technical challenges independently and as a team
  • Experience setting up experiments
