Associate Quantity Surveyor

A well-established, medium-sized construction consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team based in Cambridge as an Associate Quantity Surveyor.

This is a cost management and project management consultancy with a strong presence in UK industrial and commercial projects, along with growth in the residential, healthcare and education sector.

The Associate Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will lead a cost management team from the front, actively participating on projects whilst also managing individuals.

The successful Associate Quantity Surveyor will take on and oversee projects from inception to completion, including preparing initial estimates, the full procurement process, administering contracts, taking them to site, and closing them out.

The role is a senior management position with excellent prospects for progression to Director level within a comparatively rapid timeframe.

The Quantity Surveyor Requirements
  1. 5 + years' Quantity Surveying experience at minimum
  2. Experience of Industrial projects highly preferable
  3. MRICS preferred
  4. Previous management experience
  5. Organised with excellent time management skills
  6. Personable and able to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  7. Able to commute to Cambridge
