Associate QA Analyst

Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate QA Analyst to join our development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As an Associate QA Analyst, you will help ensure the quality of EVE Vanguard, our MMO FPS experience set in the universe of EVE Online, by rigorously testing features, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to deliver a polished and immersive game experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to break into the video game industry and gain hands-on experience in quality assurance.

Your Tasks:
  • Work closely with QA Analysts and development teams to understand game features and provide thorough testing coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools and processes.
  • Write and execute test plans, test cases, and perform regression and exploratory testing across multiple builds.
  • Collaborate with the development team to reproduce hard-to-find issues.
  • Learn and follow best practices in QA methodology, with a strong focus on player experience and game stability.
Your Profile:
  • A passion for video games and a desire to work in game development.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5 is a plus.
  • A love for sci-fi worlds and first-person shooters is a plus.
