Job summary

JB Leitch Ltd, a specialist property litigation firm, seeks an Associate with 3–5 PQE to join their team handling residential leasehold disputes, landlord & tenant matters, and service charge issues.

You will manage a diverse caseload across Liverpool, London, and remote work, draft pleadings and witness statements, advise clients, and represent them in the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber). You will supervise junior team members and support senior colleagues on complex matters.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with 3–5 years PQE.
• Proven hands‑on experience in property litigation, landlord & tenant law, leasehold disputes, and service charge matters.
• Demonstrated experience with the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of property litigation matters independently.
• Draft pleadings and witness statements, and provide legal advice.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Solicitor with 3‑5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Core Expertise: Proven hands‑on experience in property litigation, landlord & tenant law, leasehold disputes, and service charge matters.
• Tribunal Experience: Demonstrated experience with the First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).
• Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Remediation Orders, and the Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024.
