Role Description

As an Associate Project Manager, you will lead the Project Management and Contract Administration services for strategic infrastructure on large residential and mixed-use projects. In this role, you will manage project delivery, work with senior stakeholders, and operationally lead a project team. You'll be responsible for ensuring all work and outputs are executed to meet project needs and objectives.

Role Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage an operational team, setting objectives and developing skills to deliver required outputs and continuously improve results.
  • Translate project objectives into plans, costs, and schedules, managing finances across the project lifecycle to meet profit and budgetary targets.
  • Implement projects by managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with Arcadis' risk and compliance policy and codes of conduct.
  • Assure compliance with contracts regarding project delivery parameters and scope of service.
  • Analyze complex data and documents, using knowledge to provide advice and recommendations for project decision-making.
  • Develop processes and review policies for projects, ensuring changes align with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and collaboration across projects, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Act as a technical expert within projects, providing subject matter advice to colleagues to support successful delivery.
  • Manage relationships with clients and third-party contractors to keep all parties informed of project progress and expectations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • NEC accreditation.
  • Relevant professional qualification or chartered status.
  • Relevant project management experience, including managing and leading teams.
  • Working knowledge of NEC/ICC contract administration.
  • Infrastructure experience, including earthworks, highways, and drainage.
  • Ability to produce/interrogate delivery programs.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to manage relationships with and influence external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing business relationships at the senior-management level.
