Associates at Turner & Townsend:
Associates work on a broad range of projects across public and private sectors including Aviation, Highways, Rail, Environment, Utilities, and more. We seek individuals with:
- Extensive experience in infrastructure project/programme management across the lifecycle, including project management principles, contract and budget management, leadership, financial management, project controls, schedule management, benefits alignment, health, safety, quality, and environmental management, and status reporting. Knowledge of CDM is essential.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of developing teams and leading in challenging environments, including addressing capability gaps.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills to understand and shape complex problems into workable solutions.
- Drive and commitment to solutions, with the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
- Ability to create, manage, and modify project/programme plans.
- Effective planning, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple work streams and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

- Ability to identify client opportunities and independently solve challenges, including cross-service approaches.
Qualifications and Experience
Beneficial Experience:
- Procurement and NEC contract management experience
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on infrastructure projects
- Experience in consultancy or client-side project management
- Familiarity with public sector organizations and relevant bodies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in management, construction, or infrastructure-related field, or equivalent experience
- Professional affiliation with APM, ICE, or similar
- Project management certifications (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, MSP)
- NEC accreditation or qualifications
- CSCS or equivalent
