THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a PROJECT MANAGER at Senior or Associate level who is MRICS qualified to join a boutique firm of consultants with long-standing clients, working on new build hotels, offices, and cut & carve construction projects based in the City of London.
Clients are mainly landlords.
You should be comfortable assisting the partner on large projects valued at around £250m and also managing your own projects from inception to completion.
THE COMPANY
The client is a firm of construction consultants providing Building Surveying, Project Management, and Cost Management services.
They have a portfolio of long-standing clients and are extremely busy.
Most of their work is concentrated in the City of London and Central London, with some projects further afield.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an MRICS qualified Project Manager at either Associate or Senior level.
You should be chartered with RICS and have experience with a UK-based construction consultancy.
You will have a Degree or MSc in a building construction-related field such as Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or Construction Project Management.
You must have a good understanding of the building process to meet with clients and oversee projects from inception to completion.
You should have a stable work record with other construction consultancy firms.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential, along with confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues at all levels.
An interest in networking and business development is desirable.
Salary ranges from £80,000 to £90,000, plus a £4,000 car allowance, a good bonus based on invoicing, life insurance, pension contributions, lifestyle perks, and other benefits.
