We are seeking an Associate Professor to join the Centre leadership team, helping to shape strategic direction, research, and funding priorities. The successful candidate will oversee the initiation and effective delivery of innovative, collaborative research projects, leading research teams within the Centre and beyond. Securing external funding and supporting colleagues in this effort will be key responsibilities. The role includes managing research resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards, including leadership of the new social sciences research laboratory at ARU Chelmsford.
The Centre will adopt a collaborative approach with local, regional, and national public service organizations to address issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion. The post-holder will have opportunities to work closely with these organizations on research and evaluation challenges. Additionally, supervising PhD and Professional Doctorate students, as well as contributing to postgraduate teaching, will be part of the role.
