Job description

London - Hybrid working - 3 days on site

We are recruiting for an Associate – Production Finance within a global entertainment company for a contract until 31st December 2025. This role offers hybrid working in their London office, paying £288.46 per day PAYE.

As an Associate – Production Finance, you will be an integral part of the Production Finance team, collaborating closely with production management, tax, visual effects, music, and third-party production companies. Your expertise will ensure financial compliance and contribute to the smooth execution of productions. You will manage financial aspects of productions, both partnered and self-managed, serving as a key point of contact.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Analyze and review production budgets and cost reports, ensuring accurate financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Communicate effectively with third-party production companies to identify and resolve financial variances and discrepancies.
  3. Collaborate with internal studio stakeholders to manage production processes and implement effective cost controls.
  4. Act as a liaison between production partners and internal teams, facilitating seamless financial workflows.
  5. Guide third-party production accounting teams in reporting requirements, ensuring accurate financial data.
  6. Support partners in implementing new financial procedures and adapting to workflows.
  7. Ensure all productions comply with UK laws, local practices, and government regulations.
  8. Maintain knowledge of payroll, tax, banking, and invoicing processes specific to the UK market.
  9. Proactively identify and suggest improvements to financial workflows, optimizing efficiency.
  10. Explore innovative solutions to enhance production finance processes.
Must-Haves:
  • Strong finance experience in film, TV, production, or media.
  • Understanding of production workflows and financial processes, including budgeting and cost reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets or similar financial applications.
