Primark Stores Limited in Reading is seeking an Associate Product Owner to drive a mature product portfolio and enable data-driven decisions across customer, colleague and business insights. You will translate strategy into clear roadmaps and prioritised backlogs, partnering with delivery teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You will collaborate with senior Product Owners and Managers, own backlog prioritisation, write user stories, and ensure delivery aligns with governance and business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology delivery, product management, delivery management, or business analysis.
• Proficient in backlog and roadmap management within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience writing user stories and business requirements to support product delivery.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe and product management practices.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to balance cost, value and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategy into roadmaps and backlogs.
• Own end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through development and support.
• Define and prioritise the product backlog aligned with objectives and customer needs.
• Create and manage user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead sprint and release planning, manage dependencies and communicate progress to stakeholders.
