Job summary

American Express is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Product Management to scale Network Tokenization capabilities within GMNS. The role blends Product Ownership and Operations, partnering with Product Managers, Engineering, and stakeholders to drive roadmap delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The team supports digital wallet experiences and secure payment flows; the role emphasizes delivering high-quality software across multiple markets and leveraging data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, CS, or related field.
• 2–4 years in product management, operations, analytics, or consulting.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on with Rally for user stories and backlogs.
• Experience with digital products or platforms.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence.
• Experience with data analysis (Excel, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product roadmap initiatives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Bridge between business and technology teams to align requirements.
• Drive delivery of product initiatives with timely, high-quality output.
• Analyze product performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, risk, tech, servicing, and ops.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of product delivery processes.
