Job Description:

My Client is recruiting for an Associate Process Engineer specializing in Clean Water. The role involves technical leadership in water treatment technologies, project management, and client engagement.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Water sector experience, including drinking water treatment and membrane technologies
• Knowledge of nitrate, organics, iron, and manganese removal processes
• Experience with low carbon footprint designs and digital design tools
• Understanding of safety standards like DSEAR, HAZOP, and functional safety
• Ability to lead bids, develop process designs, and write technical reports
• Educational qualification: Degree in process engineering; Chartered status preferred
• Proven experience in municipal water engineering sector and team management

Responsibilities:

• Technical leadership and strategy development
• Client and regulator engagement within the UK and globally
• Process design including mass, heat, energy balances, P&IDs, and hydraulic design
• Supporting bid development, project execution, and technical investigations
• Mentoring less experienced colleagues and contributing to technical networks
