Associate, Private Equity Strategy (Singapore based)

• Based in Singapore (relocation required if currently based in the UK)
• Leading buyside firm managing one of the largest PE portfolios globally, sector agnostic

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting Private Equity CIOs and senior management in evaluating investments, developing strategies, and defining the role of PE within the broader portfolio
2. Shaping the composition and outlook of the private equity portfolio
3. Collaborating with global private equity deal teams on due diligence, deal evaluation, and underwriting
4. Developing independent analyses for the CIO and Investment Advisory Committee
5. Formulating private credit investment strategies, including portfolio construction, sector strategy, performance management, and risk guidelines

Ideal candidate profile:

1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
2. 1-3 years of experience in M&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or MBB Management Consulting
3. Strong skills in financial modelling, valuation, research, and deal assessment; LBO modelling is mandatory
4. Good communication and process management skills
5. Positive attitude, high energy, initiative
6. Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating maturity and integrity
7. Excellent presentation and writing skills
