Role Overview

The Associate will be a core member of the Private Credit investment team, responsible for sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and monitoring private credit investments across a range of sectors and geographies. The role offers exposure to the full deal lifecycle and close collaboration with senior team members, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, financial modelling, credit analysis, and preparation of investment committee materials
  • Conduct industry and company-specific research to support underwriting and risk assessment
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating debt and equity-linked transactions, including senior secured loans, unitranche, mezzanine, and structured capital solutions
  • Monitor and manage portfolio investments, including ongoing credit performance, covenant compliance, and periodic valuations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, advisors, and counterparties to support deal sourcing and market intelligence
  • Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge sharing across the platform

Candidate Requirements

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, investment banking, or principal investing
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with deep understanding of credit fundamentals and capital structures
  • Experience underwriting and/or executing private debt transactions is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
  • Highly motivated team player with strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and commercial judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution; CFA or other relevant qualifications a plus
