Associate Principal Scientist, Process Chemistry, Hoddesdon

Requirements:

  • PhD in synthetic organic chemistry preferred.
  • 1-2 years post-doctoral experience in industry or academia.
  • Strong academic or industrial laboratory experience with at least 3 to 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Proven track record in devising and delivering API synthesis projects under GxP regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry theories and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Process Chemistry fundamentals.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Mentoring a small team of Process Chemists.
  • Engaging with clients, providing project updates, hosting visits, addressing technical queries, and meeting project requirements.
  • Providing solutions for complex chemical problems, supporting development and scale-up of processes for the Pilot Plant.
  • Participating in the development of new technologies or methodologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure proper documentation of scientific work.
