A health organization in Wales is seeking an Associate Practitioner for Research and Development in Pathology. This role involves providing pathology support for clinical research, alongside laboratory responsibilities. A diploma in Pathology or a related field is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility in travel is necessary, as it involves visiting various sites within the organization.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a member of the Research and Development team in BCUHB.
The role will provide research pathology support for staff across the organisation in order to manage, with the support of the Research team, all research governance and processes which need completing on behalf of the organisation.
It is expected that the role will be worked from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd mostly with the possibility of working on other sites.
The role will provide a comprehensive laboratory support for the Research and Development Department and provide advice and support to all staff within the organisation who are involved in undertaking research. This post will also develop your personal understanding of research, and give you an opportunity to work across BCUHB with a range of different staff.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
To assist with the pathology support of clinical research across BCUHB. As an integrated member of the research team, provide laboratory support to the delivery of the local and national research agenda.
Regular travel between NHS and other sites within BCUHB will be required.
